Daily Prompt: Tell us about your hero.
I searched Google and this is what I found:
Google Defines Hero
A person admired for courage or noble qualities. Dictionary.com says a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. Within mythology it means 1) a being of godlike prowess and beneficence who often came to be honored as a divinity; 2) (in the Homeric period) a warrior-chieftain of special strength, courage, or ability; 3) (in later antiquity) an immortal being; demigod.
As for me, I haven’t identified with any hero/heroine ever. I don’t think celebrities, actresses, actors, rich people, are really anyone to look up to. Just because you are famous doesn’t make you a great person that I should look up to and strive to be like. Of course of course, there are celebrities out there doing really great things and donating money and volunteering their time. And that’s great. But I don’t want to “be like them”.
I think there are certain qualities in all people that I hope to achieve in myself. I found this quote a few months ago and I absolutely love it, and agree that these are qualities I would love to possess and achieve daily!
