If you are unfamiliar with this blog, it is SO FUN!  I am addicted to DIYs, and I don’t do that many yet, but I LOVE to read about them and find more.  My Pinterest boards are FULL of so many types of DIYs.  I have often thought about having a blog that only shares super awesome DIYs and tutorials.  But there are already a lot of blogs that do just that.

Besides, I am so inconsistent and unorganized.  I would really need to up my game to have a blog like she does.  Though I might someday open a Tumblr blog, maybe when I have time to take more photos of things.

So there you go!

Daily Prompt: If you had to choose between being able to write a blog (but not read others’) and being able to read others’ blogs (but not write your own), which would you pick? Why?

Easy Peasy!  I would most definitely choose to read others’ blogs.  Let’s be real here, I just got started with this and while this time around I’m actually doing a decent job, there are so many more inspiring blogs out there and with awesome ideas.  If I didn’t read blogs I would be bored and lacking a million ideas!

Obviously I hope to continue to improve this blog, but I love to read others’ blogs too much to let that go 🙂

Spotted Canary School

I’ve just “joined the flock” at Spotted Canary School!  Its a website full of crafting resources, online classes, craft galleries, and what I hear is an awesome crafting community!  I just today signed up for an online self-paced course, Embellish Your Life, so I can learn some of the basics of using crystals to embellish fabrics, clothes, bags, etc!  I’m excited, I have a few crystals already and a pair of capris that I would love to add some bling to!  I’ll take photos for you all as I go along, and please do check out the site and join the flock with me!
